Manycam alternatives?

I use manycam to show my desktop to other people on sites that support video and audio. is there a program better than manycam that can do the same thing?

i think it's safe to say that any screen capture software is garbage.

so use Fraps, or Bandicam. Or something.

not really

in terms of screen sharing (the way the OP is worded is kinda ambiguous so idk if that's what you are trying to do) i'm not sure if obs can do that or not. if it can, use that. otherwise, try xsplit since i know that can.

if you aren't trying to screen share and are streaming or recording, just use obs like izzy suggested. my creep video on the video db was recorded with obs.

i'm referring to using it to stream video over skype or tinychat, for example; not just a local recording

nah, it can't be used as a source in its own; I use SplitCam for that.

I experimented with the idea a while back in MSVSE but, it did not turn out too good. It only captures the screen. (no sound)

edit: One major flaw with it is sync/timing. It did not work well. :\ However, feel free to try it if you want... Although, your better off using something else like... camstudio or the others mentioned above.
