    Sobering Events

    Today on 12/13/2013 a student walked into one of the sister schools of my districts with a shotgun with the intent to kill a teacher.

    He failed in his attempt but did hospitalize one other student and soon after took his own life.

    I'm not even quite sure how to react. Today was my last day of school, ever, and I really thought I was going to get through the system without ever being affiliated with one of these events.

    I didn't know how else to express my emotions so I made a song, Warriors is in reference to the Arapahoe High School Warriors and the students involved.

      Stay strong midnight. Even though you might be my rival/sister school, your still a brother.

          Yeah, I first heard of this through Xiz in the TWG lobby and it shocked and saddened me.

          I wish the best for all the victims, whether their wounds are visible or invisible. And I truly wish I had the talent and technical know-how to so quickly and masterfully express myself in music as you have.

              I knew the shooter, karl, well from middle school, he was a great kid who fell victim to bullying. Thoughts and prayers to all the families affected as well as the shooters family.

                  I slightly remember meeting him at one point. I am incredibly curious as to why he was targeting a teacher (Tracy Murphy), and to what extent his involvement in this kid snapping is.

                      Mr. Murphy was one of my old teachers. He was literally the nicest guy. I'm still can't even comprehend that he would have been a target...

                              When everyone becomes shit to you, their life becomes meaningless. I guess this guy was too weak to even fight himself and his negative thoughts, turning all that energy into something constructive, and decided to go for a shooting instead. Then of course, 'murica and stuff.
