I have virtually no automatic concept of solidarity with my fellow man. I have an academic understanding of what it is supposed to be like, so I can pretend, but I really don't know what it actually feels like.

That's actually pretty interesting, but I also recollect you alluding to similar sentiments before. Do you feel much of anything towards other people?

Isn't that pretty typical of loners? Looking up the definition I'm not sure I can recall any moments where I felt that way about something.

Seems like sociopathic behavior, but it also seems normal for a lot of people.

Well, there's introversion and there's sociopathy, and there are plenty of other steps in between. It's mostly a matter of degree. I'm -also- hugely introverted.

Lack of empathy (sociopathy) isn't the same as enjoying being alone (introversion). What you mentioned about solidarity is a lack of empathy because you can't relate, not so much a degree of introversion.

maybe his introversion fed into having gaps in his empathy? If you can't relate to something because you don't know how it feels, because you've always been alone, then you just can't relate to it.

I'm not sure if I mean to say this but ignorance =/= sociopathy.

Then again it kinda depends on what he can't relate to. If it's something everyone should be able to empathize about, then that might be a problem.

maybe his empathetical denotations of relational reality have been disconfigured by a sense of disregulatory discombobulation which has affected his neurotransmissions in the deepest degree...a taxing of the perspectives which results in the loss of instrumental figures
