Re: Change YouTube Back!!
In other words it's redundant for 99.9% of people with a YouTube account. I'm envisioning Google taking on this massive consolidation of social media into one little package over the long term in an attempt to make it more attractive than Facebook. The fact that they're basically using the YouTube service as a way to force people into this idea is pretty genius on their part but annoying for everyone who just wants to use YouTube by itself.Comment

Re: Change YouTube Back!!
Signed. Stupid. I am not digging google's way of rubbing their dick all over everything they own lately. Signing in to make a youtube comment with my old account takes ages of fiddling around, and then when I go to check my gmail, it's ANOTHER few ages of fiddling around. No "sign out" that does what it says, no, it prompts you to "add an account" to your gmail account!!!!!
It's just so much shit that I wouldn't figure Google would be doing, they've been praised for the simplicity of use for a lot of things, and this is not one of those things.

ESPN changed their policy to where you have to have a Facebook account to leave comments. Good luck.Comment

Re: Change YouTube Back!!
Youtube are the kings of bad decision. Well maybe after Myspace. Since Youtube was bought by Google, the site went downhill.
Now that they introduced Google+ accounts, it forces me to chose between 2-3 different accounts everytime I log on.
Comments are really really fucked up. When using my Youtube account, I need to sign into the Google+ (why honestly), then reload the page, click on the comment box and it doesn't work at all anymore. I cannot register comment. Replies are now fucked up too, they just loads to another page.
This speaks for itself too :

You know they did something wrong if the co-founder has no idea why they're doing this.

YouTube, LLC was bought by Google for US$1.65 billion in November 2006 and now operates as a Google subsidiary.
It's Google's website.Comment

Yeah, but you don't treat customers, no matter if it's free, to force them to accept something so they can do something as simple as POST A FRICKEN COMMENT.
I'm pretty damn sure everyone's aware that Google owns Youtube by now.

Re: Change YouTube Back!!
I don't understand this nonsense.
Why are these different? One of them has all of my videos and the other is blank. I type in "IzzyData" and my password and it logs me into my gmail on youtube and has none of my videos. Then I have to go to switch accounts and select the right one which also logs in at the same time in order to view my stuff.

Re: Change YouTube Back!!
That's the big thing that urks me. My youtube account that I have not attached to my name, like I have with my google+ account, and has videos, isn't able to stay logged in if I want to check my gmail inbox. It just doesn't work right.
