I bought a really nice flatscreen TV from newegg on a Black Friday deal, but there was shipping issues and it got sent back so I just got a refund lol. Other than that I've only bought random computer things; A monitor here, cooling fan and RAM there, etc.

I find that any money you save on Black Friday is offset by the crowds. :P

How do you end up spending more money because of crowds? I don't think those things are comparable.

Now they say you don't even get the best deals on black Friday anymore, you get better deals about 2 weeks before Christmas. You run the risk of not being able to find certain things though. I think it's crazy that black Friday has turned into Thanksgiving, Friday and Monday now. It's messed up that stores are making people work Thanksgiving, AJ might be stuck working on it this year and we work in the e-commerce center not an actual store.

the best kind of black friday shopping is the black friday shopping in Canada because they have miniscule sales in comparison to black friday shopping in America but it's a ghost town.

Cyber Monday might be better since its right after I get payed.

I get paid on the 1st and 16th of every month. It's going to be hard to get something on Cyber Monday. I don't waste my time going to Black Friday shopping. My family has been going to the Texas Renaissance Festival for several years.

That's not what thanksgiving is about though. It's about being thankful for the things you "do" have. Some people manage to have self control as well. Perhaps not most, but it isn't just implied that you have to act like a psycho during black friday.

Well, same vice versa, if you were thankful for things you DO have, then you are plenty fine NOT having other things. There for are thankful for not having them.
