I've had one Unread Private Message in my Inbox for 3 years. Just a little while ago I let Zageron log on to my account to hopefully resolve the issue.
What he discovered was I had some messages sent to me from December 31st, 1969. At 6pm.
When I say some... I mean 54. 54 Messages, all of them dated at exactly December 31st, 1969, 6pm. One of them was "Unread". He marked it "Read" for me <3.
Here's the pictures of what that looks like after he "unlocked" them so I could view them. Page 4 had 39 messages, so I had to zoom out to capture them all in one shot, page 5 has 15 messages which you can see at normal zoom.
Page 5 I'll link first so you see what is going on. There is no subject, no sender, dates all exactly the same, etc. On page 4, I hope you have a magnifying glass. I took it as one big screenshot because aside from doing that, there is no identifying traits between the "messages" They all have no subject, no sender, all sent same time, blah blah blah. There are 2 messages at the top I did leave so you can see the real messages, and I highlighted the timestamp of the 1969 timestamps to make it easier to count them.
