    Tom Clancy Dead at 66

    What a shame. His concepts revolving around the military in his stories, films, and video games were second to none, and he's certainly going to be missed in the word of writing/publishing. I didn't know much about his movies, but I did have the chance to read Red Storm Rising a few years ago: it was one of the most engaging books I've ever read.

    I can't believe I didn't hear about this earlier -- he apparently passed away yesterday.

              Facebook post made around 12:30 this afternoon. Sad to see him go. I loved reading his novels and the movie adaptations were always fun to see. He will truly be missed.

                          Rip, he would be missed greatly in the literary community. I actually have a few of his books and they were pleasant to read, sucks that he died :c

                                      I read The Hunt for Red October this summer it was a fun read.
