i don't think there's a timer, so i guess i'll just have to believe you. as for the grandma's, the only effect i've noticed is the wrath cookies replacing golden cookies. Which, quite frankly I prefer them over golden cookies. One potential bonus of them is a 666x multiplier for 6 seconds. way more powerful than 7x for 77 seconds. also, that's probably your best bet on the 99tril upgrades. If you have the upgrades that make golden cookies appear twice as often, and you have the grandmas nice and pissed off, you can make like 7 trillion cookies each time you get the 666x multiplier.

im too scared to click the red cookies atm cause i have 15 trillion saved up (waiting for 77 trillion for lucky day upgrade)

You don't really lose 10%. You lose some multiple of your cps. I had 1 billion cps and was loosing 850 billion every time, but gained 1.6 billion from lucky cookies. I think you always come out positive anyway.
