what about borrowing credits? personally, I'm not fond of people just asking for free credits all the time either. It's especially ridiculous when female players do it, because everyone just tosses credits at them like it's a strip club. But I have no issue lending credits to someone, and I can think of at least 2 occasions where I've had to ask someone to let me borrow them so I could improve my ranks on secret songs.

I feel your pain. I'll let you borrow them for free, but just out of curiosity how much cash would you pay to keep them?

Well, it may not be enough that you think it would be worth it, but I can spare $20 for 100k credits. If not, I would love to borrow them. Thanks for understanding. There are certain people who cheat in the gambling hall. I do play this game a lot to get credits. It's going to take a long time to get to where I need to be. Even as much as I play.

It's not going to stop. Even if a new rule gets placed, people will just stop making threads and start using PM's, or off site means of communication to get people to lend credits (or give them away). I really don't see these sorts of actions as even remotely surprising, what do you expect people are going to do when FFR is overflowing with credits, and people ask for a hand out. Oh, 40k? 100k? Not a problem, I have like 45894350890 credits and they don't even mean anything to me anymore, go wild.

The only way you'll get people to stop throwing their credits everywhere is if we devise ways to give credits meaning (after you have the secret songs, and bought the purchased genre out that is). It's hardly like earning credits at this point is even all that difficult. It's like, hop in every tourney and event you see and bam, you're loaded. It's not like people are being cheated out of anything when this happens, most are given their credits through means other than directly from the FFR results screen anyway. The only way I would really side with the "have to play the game like everyone else" bit is if you actually had to play the game a lot to build up all the credits. You really don't, and you acknowledge this by recommending them to head to events to accumulate credits quickly. You can get credits from everywhere so fast, it really isn't even worth getting upset over when people loan them. I got 50k just from posting once in a luck based event, like 20k for posting an image with some SM arrows on it, 15k for posting a name, 10k for just posting in a thread period, and those are just the ones I remember off the top of my head. Of course this doesn't include events that actually involved doing things FFR related (challenges, spon cons, tourneys, etc) which are still hilariously trivial compared to trying to build well over 200k from playing FFR by itself.

Tl;dr: Doesn't really feel super cheaty because it's already so easy to get credits. They just have less fun getting them by loaning / hand outs than others do through events. If they want to cheat me out of having less fun, that's quite alright with me.
