I recently got back from Kroger after "buying" 20 Propel Zero and Water (the singles; not the packs). The place I work out at has a stand with Buy 1 Get 1 Free 20 or 24 fl oz Propel Zero or Propel Water coupons. At the same time, Kroger is having a sale of the same kind: Buy 1 Get 1 Free 24 fl oz Propel Zero or Propel Water. I grabbed 10 coupons from the gym and went over to Kroger and got 5 of each kind: Black Cherry, Kiwi Strawberry, Berry, and Grape.
I get to the register and choose a girl because my mom did the same thing earlier today and had a little trouble. It's a manufacture coupon + store sale. I get everything rung up and plugged in my mom's phone number to get the store sale. I hand over the 10 coupons and she looks at the coupons, looks at the computer screen, then gives it a try.
About halfway through, she looks at me and says, "You're trying to get this stuff for free, aren't you." I look at her, shaking my head, thinking to myself, "I AM getting this stuff for free." When she scans the last coupon, the total is $0.00. Herself and the bagger say, "You are like the first person to get something free from Kroger."
