I don't normally make threads, but I figured I'd share this show because it was pretty fun to watch. There is only a short that probably wont get any kind of sequel because it was a government funded animation training project, but maybe if it gets popular enough it could become a series.

I just watched this last night, it was pretty good overall, though I fell asleep during the last few minutes of it. I'll probably rewatch the ending while waiting for the next episode of Attack on Titan.

Comes to show that the older generation of employee's at gainax (now known as trigger) have possibly the most creative minds and great passion toward what they do.

Now that you've mentioned gainax I'm reminded that evangelion 3.0 might get put up somewhere today. I've been waiting for more than a year for this day. I'm going to get some food and sit down and watch this amazing movie on my tv tonight if it does.

When did they make the stretch goal a series? I thought it was just adding stuff to the BD release, and I'm pretty sure the creator said they wouldn't make LWA2 a series.

Although we did explain that it is difficult to extend the episode length past 40 minutes for Little Witch Academia 2, that does not mean we plan to end it with just this episode! We too are aspiring for a TV series and a full length film! Our first goal is to produce a 40 minute episode of LWA2. After that, we want to aim for further goal such as a television series or a full length film!

They may not make it right away, but with its popularity and the studio's interest it seems likely that it will eventually be a series.
