As a manga I respect dragonball because one guy was drawing all of it, and all the sub series, every month putting it out, and then playing a large part in animating the tv show.
The show itself.. I really don't like.. it's..ok
If I had to pick three..
The Shinesmen, Read or Die, and Oh Mi My! Strawberry Eggs. Since I'm not sure if we're just talking about series...
If movies could be included Akira would be at the number 1 spot.Comment

For top 3 series I say --> X, Trigun, and Martian Successor Nadesico. I've seen dozens of other anime but those are the ones I'll make my family watch. Also to add, yes Cowboy BeBop is awesome, has a great OST and everything.Guess who's back!

Eva is the most contreversial anime. I mean look at the main antagonists. Angels. It actually made my mom throw up. Thats only after the first couple of episodes. If she saw the one where Unit - 01 ate the angel she would be throwing up madly!Comment

Evangelion, RahXephon, and FLCL.
The Kenshin OVAs are awesome though. They would have been third, but the rest of the series sucks...especially Samurai X.
Evangelion is contraversial due to the fact that the whole series is about how worthless human beings are and how Seele started the Evangelion program to artifically evolve human beings into God.Comment
