I like this guy and I find this inspiring. I hope maybe this will open people's eyes to not judge people badly based on their style. I admire that he decided to stick with the goth look even though it wasn't perhaps as mainstream acceptable, simply because it's the look that he wanted as he felt it suited him best.
Also, for people expecting perhaps some darker kind of singing, I'm glad he sang as he did. For it also suited him, and it was how he was going to sing in spite of what people may have expected.
You can also look in his eyes and see a lot of really human qualities. He clearly puts a lot of emotion into his singing and he clearly puts his all out there in spite of what people might think.
Also, personally, I like his style. It's not my personal style, but it suits him.
The positive messages I get out of this are to do what suits you regardless of what others might think, and to not judge people badly based only on their style.
Of course I'm somewhat biased in that I already like alternative styles but for anyone who immediately has a negative opinion on people with alternative looks, perhaps this can change your mind.
