I'm so used to google that it is very obvious which is which based on the layout of the links. Also got 4 google and 1 draw choosing by what seemed better and not because I already knew which was google.

It's probably just restricted to the US, I tried from an american IP and it let me in.

Instantly links to Bing. Also in Canada and also logged into hotmail. Maybe that has something to do with it? I don't even use Bing.

The reason why it links to Bing is because it's a marketing campaign by Microsoft. Doesn't really have to do with Hotmail.

Also, they claim that 2:1 users have preferred Bing over Google, but I'm sure they pulled those numbers out of thin air. Seeing that 4/5 users chose Google as the winner in this thread (and last one is a tie) says something.

Or what about image or video search ? Because I get way better results in Google than Bing.

Yeah, i noticed that as well. I also feel like google gives you more information per site when you search something.
