Otakon itself is this weekend (july 30, 31, and Aug 1.. respectfully, friday-sat-and sunday).. the hanging event that will ensue between the FFR kids is however long you want it to be.. if someone wants to bring there comp, and have a party in there hotel room playing SM, or anyother PC / Console game that would be great..

Sorry for reviving an old topic, but i didn't want to create a new one to talk about it in. I just got back from otakon, and it was pretty awesome (otakus are creepy jewpin, there were so many...). My favorite part was either the MASSIVE GAMING ROOM, or the OtakuRave. I have to admit, while most of the people either didn't know, or didn't want to dance, in the side room, there were a bunch more people sticking and doing poi. It was so cool, and the DJ's were really good. It's always fun to do that sort of thing =D

Yea, it was ok.. last years otakon was a lot better... I met a bunch of people, hung out some.. beat EVERYONE at super street fighter 2 turbo for super nintendo.. cam in 4th out of a 16 player system link game on halo (first time playing in 1 1/2 months)... almost got robbed... found out about the coolest game of all time, the typing of the dead (find it online for a review of it)... Someone had Stepmania setup up in the lan corner, so I had to go over there and beat his hardest song, then left...

Sorry this isn't as long as my neko review from last year, but.. it wasn't as eventfull either.. so there is good reason..
