hey yall, I'm deciding to switch from smoking regular cigarettes to vapor cigarettes or whatever. This is the kit that I'm buying and from the research I've done it seems to have pretty good reviews.

I have a few reasons for making this decision.

1. My stepmom is really sensitive to second/third hand smoke. She's finally had enough of me reaking of cigarettes all the time and it's actually detrimental to her health. So I'm making this transition primarily to not put her at health risks. She has severe asthma and has had open heart surgery.

2. It seems to be a lot cheaper this route. I need to save all the money I can get and smoking a 1/2 pack of cigarettes a day is not helping.

So I just made this thread wondering about people's thoughts and opinions on them and if I'm making a wise decision.





Side note: Please don't flood this thread with 'lol quit cigs noob' or 'stop smoking cigs fgt ur scum' because that is not the purpose of this thread.

I like how they vaporize it, so while it's still shitty for ya it's at least mildly better on your lungs + more cost effective

I'd like to quit and all eventually but I'm just not ready to quit yet.

I just quit drugs (again welp) and I still need some sort of fix. [haha nice edit rogdor I already knew about the hash oil thing XD]

and yeah fuck my health lol I don't care about that right now XD

The method he is trying to change to won't affect her at all. It doesn't have all those chemicals people react to. It's water vapor I think?

I have a buddy that tried these and now he's addicted lol (he even had the non-nicotine one) which i guess is essentially flavored water vapor if i'm not mistaken? any hoo if that's the case you should be able to use that as long as you want without any health problems and i'm sure you can make them taste pretty good (not sure what flavors are available)

I've tried them before and they taste pretty good if you get the right flavor.... It doesn't seem like much to get accustomed to for me. But you can get varying levels of nicotine actually; or no nicotine at all.

You can do whatever you choose but if I was in your position, common sense should tell you to get the no-nicotine one lol goodluck with your quitting of real smoking though!

Electronic cigarettes arent bad for you. Nicotine by itself is as harmful as caffeine.

tbqh e cigs are complete shit, don't even waste your time. if you aren't ready to quit yet you won't quit, don't invest in other shit to "help" you quit. keep smoking cigs until you're ready to be done. i quit on the new year and i've been running my ass off everyday. i haven't stopped smoking weed and don't rly plan on it. it's surprisingly not too difficult to stop smoking if you legitimately want to stop.

note: this is coming from someone who tried e cigs and was thoroughly disappointed, all it made me want to do was smoke a real cigarette. my recommendation is a lot of exercise and quitting cold turkey.
