Drunken Typing

Legitimate question (I'm drunk right now).


Do you try to hide the fact that you're drunk when typing? This could be during general typing on the internet, texting friends, talking to people in the game that you're playing, etc.

or do yoiyu just youreaself go allt out? dontygive a fuc about whoor/what ur talking to?

When I was slightly drunk after the christmas market, I forgot about the existence of upper-case letters but otherwise it was pretty normal. Guess I "wsntc fjuck uP enoug l0l"

i actually type better when im drunk than i do when sober. but when im plastered i tend to forget i even have a phone

There's a huge line between typing drunk (like my current state of mind)

and typing completely fucking plastered to the point where you're gonna mess everything up.


I make probably an equal amount of small typing errors both buzzed and sober, if I leave every stupid little error I make while typing, sure this would look like shit, but if I'm able to realize what I'm doing wrong, why leave it looking ridiculous?

Correcting myself is less than to hide that I'm drinking and more that I want people to understand what I wrote. It's not like when I'm sober I decide I don't want to look drunk so that's why I correct typos.

I will definitely make more typing mistakes while drinking, but it seems like I only correct the same number of them as if I were sober, so yeah my typing usually goes downhill when drunk.

If I don't want to look drunk while online, I'll try to school what I type, not the way I type. It's not the grammatical and spelling errors that I'm concerned with but the message. It can be that I'll just not say anything. But sometimes I'll just say whatever...why else am I drinking if I don't want to socialize in some form?

I often exaggerate when I type drunk online. I can type fine 99% of the time, but in that mindset I don't give a shit and I just don't correct myself and often type like shit on purpose.

When I'm drunk I write a whole essay in one sentence and never stop talking because talking about anything is amazing and neverending thought process makes me want to never stop and ignore punctuation because who gives a damn about comas and periods honestly it's not like you guys need that to read my wall of text and this thread is amazing because honestly drinking kills inhibition and im way too introvert so it's like exploring a new self in this world of randomness and find a new meaning of life and being amazed at self-discovery because you decided to take the decision to give a damn about a thread since you only live once anyway and better do something cool like contributing to a thread about typing drunk when you're drunk and typing like what am I doing right now obviously since writing forever is like playing ffr marathon with no charts with open creativity but still logical thought process in order to maintain a minimal amount of sense to give a new perspective to how it's like to not care about how you're handling how you write on internet while not worrying too much about getting judged because people don't particularly care too much about the impression you leave unless you do something completely off the chart so doing a post like this should be fine.

This. I actually make a fair bit of typos when I type regularly, but when I'm drunk I just seem to forget about the backspace key.
