    I recorded a video on my phone and iit plays fine. but when i play it on my computer its off sync. whats up with that

    Probably too much noise in it (loud). That happened to me all the time when I recorded Stepmania on my iPod, and it happened more when it was too close to my music.

        Try using a different player, VLC seems to work the best for compatibility. Even if it plays fine, you might want to consider converting it to a different format, perhaps mp4 or wmv.
