eh idk whenever i made a new account and put some money in on it i found it easy to crush the game and scale up to 5/10 before i started having trouble
Oh, you're talking about regular games and not rush/zoom though.
So yeah, I see what you mean. Those stakes are definitely winnable if you're good, though, probably not HU (the HU players at that level are pretty good).
same here -- i deposited $50 on cake to play online
boy was that a mistake
i now have $300 floating around somewhere in lala land
LOL same, only i deposited 100... also min cashout there is 500 i thought. that's what i cashed out for months ago and still haven't seen it.

that's all i played was HU and 6max.
yes it's 500
but i only had 300 before they moved the site to some other skin, and i had heard enough horror stories of 6month+ cashouts that i figure it's +ev to just flip it. i just haven't bothered yet
games were really easy:
i had 8bb/100 @ NL10 and 10/100 @ PLO10

uhh mines currently been like 3 months or so and I still havent got it.
EDIT: just sent them an email asking where my money is and if i can get an estimated time of arrival. lets see what they say rofl.
Nice. Thanks for the info. Didn't know they had 'zoom'. Rush was mostly the reason I played on tilt instead of stars anyway.
And yeah, I only play cash games. I don't like tournaments. Which is funny, because my records have been very good in tourneys, but cash games are more fun. Plus I like to be able to win or lose money in single hands.
Will dump some of my LOC onto an account and start making some $ when I get free time.
Will have to set up my HUD again and start practicing again though. Probably rusty as ****.
I'd be happy to play you for fun.
Yeah tourneys are painful and boring. Especially the massive ones. Play to win and get bb'd out of the tourney most of the time. I know personally I always leave tourneys feeling unsatisfied if I do anything other than win. If I ever play poker for a living or as a side job, tourneys would be a "special thing" and cash games would be my job. My mindset is better for cash game play and it is more flexible with playing style.

agreed
variance is also so much higher in mtts
i played cash generally around 30bi as a bankroll, and decided to play very low buy-in tourneys since i don't have much experience. i go on a 15 bi downswing and thought it was the worst thing ever. talked to my friend who plays them regularly and boy did he put me in my place. i don't plan on ever playing tourneys seriously
