it's always going to be personal opinion. Yeah a phone may have a 50mp cam with cool 3d effects with 1tb of memory that is run by a super computer shrunk down to a mini chip, but if the phone doesn't feel right or i just don't enjoy using it, i won't get it.

I've had a few androids, Sony Ericsson Play,and a few others and I feel that Apple's OS is much faster than Android's. My Androids would constantly glitch out and shit.

Like it's been said before, when people buy apple, it's not only for the actual product. it's about the whole experience, and that's why Apple does so well.
apple stores are very unique, even their packaging is designed to be eye/finger candy. Apple has become a lifestyle brand (which sort of sucks for people like me who have been using macs, etc... for years) but they know how to build brand loyalty.

Siri is pretty much the ultimate gimmick due to how useless it is for actual use.

Also apple is the king of misleading aesthetics that make their products appear to be of a much higher class than other current technologies. They like to market their products as being "magical" while trying to hide all of the inner workings in a pretty little box. I'm kind of surprised they even release the tech specifications of their devices.

Am I the only one that finds voice-activated features *somewhat* useless? When I use a phone, I don't want other people knowing wtf I am doing -- so I get used to never using the voice-activated features.
