The framerate seems to have taken a hit and the physics seen to be floatier than before. Kinda sad that the Perilous Paradise glitch isn't fixed. Even so, that zone needs a revamp bad.
Other that that, the game's pretty fun. It does more than just an average rom hack at least and the bosses are incredibly enjoyable.
It would be nice to get a mirror for the ost though super please?
so as someone who whored the shit out of sonic games as a child, I quite enjoyed this. Much better than sonic 4 on xbox live arcade.
The level designs were great and really brought me back. The soundtrack was awesome (aside from that awful dubstep song, I'm still not cool with that haha) and really complimented the game.
I do have some complaints though
First of all, there's no pause button. I'm basically expected to beat the whole game in one sitting which is what I had to do.
The bosses had the right idea, but some of the designs were just awful. They progressively got better but visually it was a bit of an eyesore
The cutscenes this game probably could've gone without. I realize it's a fan-made game, but they look like a cheezy sonic amv on youtube or something out of vgdc.
The street fighter enemies in one stage were a laugh and a half, but the spedup hadouken voices got really annoying after a while.
There's a whole cast of music artists, yet there are still some kirby super star songs being used? I don't get it.
The invincibility lasts a tad too long, as well as the special stages (not a big deal though)
I'd post this on Sonic Retro, but I'm not going to waste my trial by bitching.
After delving deeper into the game, I find that it's very hard to speed run well; first runthrough was okay, but after playing it a few times, the game got harder for some reason.
Physics were a little odd too in regards to hitting enemies, mainly bosses. Hitting a robot will accelerate you if you don't go through it, causing Tails to fly up into the stratosphere on the second boss if you keep hitting it on top of it, for example. Bosses also tend to cause you to fly off at odd angles, which can cause some unfair kills against a few bosses (Rocky Ride's for example).
Other than that, I'm sorry if my rambling felt cruel.
For a non-commercial game made by a group of fans in their spare time. This is actually pretty good.
The physics are kind of wonky though, hoping to see them fix up this game of theirs. I really like the presentation the game offers with its visuals and of course, the soundtrack.

All in all I would say that Charu not only won this game, his play made me reconsider how I play it.
