Last night I came home from work and as soon as I opened my door I heard some scratching noises from inside my apartment. I immediately pulled out my knife because let's face it, that's some ****ed up shit to be hearing inside your apartment at midnight. So cautiously I went inside and looked around. Nothing was missing and for the moment I seemed to be alone. I thought maybe I had imagined it or I had somehow made those noises myself. So to calm my nerves I knocked back a glass of vodka, and soon I was calm enough to go to sleep.
The following morning, I awoke to a bird chirping and a beautiful sunrise. The chirping was actually kind of annoying so I closed my sliding glass door (which I keep open at night to let in cool air). Except, when I closed my door the chirping didn't get even a little bit quieter. And I heard those scratching noises again. Now knowing that I wasn't imagining it, I pulled out my knife again and searched for the source of the noise. While looking around I noticed the chirping seemed to be coming from within my apartment. I eventually found the source of the commotion and why the chirping didn't go away.
There is a bird in my ****ing wall.
