    Re: IRL vs. Online personalities

I'd say I'm about the same. Of course, irl, you have to be aware of context and understand that not everyone understands the same set of memes as you do so it's not like I can make a victorymania dance reference irl. In both real life and online, I basically see myself as someone who's shy around strangers/people I don't know, although after I feel comfortable with that person, I can chat up a storm xD I like to try to get along with people, to try to be understanding of people's situations by trying to take a non-biased approach and trying to take a look at things from other people's perspectives. I hate having enemies both irl and online, it makes me feel like a terrible person Dx Friendships both online and irl work kind of the same way, I like friendships that feel really mutual and even on both ends. If I have a friend that just asks for my help all the time but never helps me out, then I'd feel like that friend is taking advantage of me. On the other hand, if a friend helps me out a lot and I'm not doing much in return, I'd feel guilty. I tend to have a happy-go-lucky attitude sometimes, but sometimes that rubs off as stupidity to others, lawl xD

I'd say I'm essentially the same thing; I'll talk about the same things in person than here. The only major difference is that I can't say ## in person.
      1st in Kommisar's 2009 SM Tournament

      FGO AAA Count: 10

Bluearrowll = The Canadian player who can not detect awkward patterns. If it's awkward for most people, it's normal for Terry. If the file is difficult but super straight forward, he has issues. If he's AAAing a FGO but then heard that his favorite Hockey team was losing by a point, Hockey > FFR

you can all judge for yourselves if you go to the dunellen meetup this July!

Basically, I'm really bad at analyzing myself.

Almost completely different irl, quieter and I like to use more obscure language when i speak to people(kinda my thing if you knew me in person)

I like to be taken less seriously over the internet.

same albeit i tend to utilize more grandiloquent vocabulary in real life when debating / arguing etc.

I'm painfully shy in real life and all my life revolves around is my partner and our children.

On-line I'm different, I was act silly, get stuck in to good debates and be a dick. But I still struggle to talk to people one-on-one on-line unless they're the one making the conversation.

IRL: I almost never swear and I am bad at speaking English since it is not my native language. I am also a lot more kind-hearted and nerdy then I am online. I am not really shy either but I can be if you are a cute asian girl :3

Online: A lot more intelligent since I can just type out what am I thinking in English instead of attempting to say it in a way that would make since to the person IRL. I can also be a little mean and more of a troll online because I find it enjoyable to do seeing that it is something that I normally would not do IRL LOL

I'd say I'm pretty much the same online and offline, just more tired IRL.

On a side note, I can't wait till the end of next year. Going from Australia to SC to NYC to Ontario and then LA before heading home. I smell 4 FFR meet-ups and/or poker/drinking sessions~

I guess I'm similar irl to my online personality. I tend to not want to have disagreements, and try to be helpful. I don't really talk about ponies much irl though since I don't know many bronies, but sometimes I do it to annoy my friends :P

Virtually the same, though I'm more agreeable in person. Online I don't really have any reservations about telling someone they're wrong, but irl I'm much more likely to nod my head in agreement and keep whatever I happen to think about your statements to myself.
