I always cringe at the thought of someone or myself being tortured like that. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone and hope that this asshole gets a death penalty. Keeping him alive would be too humane, he doesn't deserve it.

I saw a video of a guy torturing and killing a cat a couple months ago on /b/. He broke its spine and jumped on it's head a little. Could've been him. Pretty gruesome. Hope he gets caught nowish.

1: That logic could eventually justify Magnotta's acts, or any other killer, depending on motivation.
2: It would make us just as bad as him.

You just don't justify murder or torture. If an entire population agrees to torture or murder an individual, no one is less guilty of it.

Mother kills baby, she should be killed, thinks the husband.
Husband kills mother because she killed his baby, he should be killed, thinks the family friend.
Friend kills wife's husband because he killed her wife, he should be killed, thinks a neighbour.
The family friend killed a man for no valid reason, thinks the community. Death penalty shall be inflicted.
