I am damn sure I missed out on epicness for not going to Anime North this year ;_; however I never miss this giant con XD Im also sure that i made a thread about this con last year lol but who cares. This convention takes place in the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, MD. All that you want/need to know about Ota is on its website: http://otakon.com

Since I made this thread about Otakon on short notice(the con start July 27th thru July 29th), I will simply ask: who is attending this year? I, of course, am going. If the list grows before the time comes I will edit the OP with an attendance list.

My sis and her boyfriend went here like twice and my friend asked if i wanted to go. Maybe but its nowhere as big as AN for sure

In terms of the con itself, it's bigger for sure. AN is just big for us Canadians since it's really the only big anime-only con we have, and a lot of us well-known FFR-ers are in Canada or near Canada :V

Well i mean i definitely won't meet as much peeps as i would there which would be a bit discouraging. Even though i know one of the guy's who is supplying most of the machines and what not so the game room will be amazing for sure.

Went to Otakon '06. It was pretty fun an definitely a massive con. I'd probably go again if I was ever on the east coast.

They have been doing an awesome job. Every DDR cab I play nowadays you have to cause a fissure with your feet to make the arrows register lol. But at cons, everything is just sweet.

Went to Otakon '06. It was pretty fun an definitely a massive con. I'd probably go again if I was ever on the east coast.
