I'll just say this about ads. Ads need to be less Flash (and/or other Rich Internet Application) based and go back to simply gifs, jpegs, and links. No Popups or Popunders either. You'd think this stuff should be common sense to advertisers. I mean if they actually want people to ever buy any of their products, that is.
A well-placed, relevant gif or jpeg will occasionally get a click from me vs. an annoying popup or popunder gets an immediate close (if not outright block in the first place), and a Flash (or other Rich Internet Application) ad uses up too much system resources in addition to being annoying, severely reducing the browsing experience and making me think negatively of the product.
Hint hint advertisers. Lol.
The more "interactive" and "multimedia" you make your ads the less effective they will be and the more people will hate your ads, your company, and your product. Just the facts.
