For all of you calling lack of context, here's a some.

I'm not "finding ways out of it". My initial conditions were ones of value. Clearly in that exact scenario I am more valuable than all those people combined. Now you're adding an addition condition that I am the only person on Earth who is immune. That makes me the most valuable person on Earth in that scenario.

I guess I'd have to find as many uninfected partners as possible, get very busy, and hope some of the offspring gained the immunity. Hopefully the infection wouldn't have spread to the entire world by the time some of those offspring matured, so they would be able to repopulate with some of the remaining uninfected people and so forth.

With this in mind:

What would be the situation for the thousands or millions of people being killed? If they're being morons and slaughtering each other over racial hatred, then no, it's not worth sacrificing myself at all

I'm a soldier and I do this anyway. Makes no difference quick or torture. I fight to save lives. Not always by killing but self sacrifice as well. Ones blood sweat and tears can help/change the lives of millions.

The depressive side of me says yes, but it would all matter how. If it's quick and painless then sure, if it's falling from a high height or drowning then nah.

Actually this does make all the difference.

If you were forced by an authority to kill someone innocent or you yourself would be forcefully killed, would you do it? If you weren't forced by an authority to kill that same innocent person, would you still kill that person?

That's just one example, and that's one of the things that makes this a very vague question to ask.

No I would not. Maybe a chance I would for 1 or 2 people, but otherwise, no.
