My first time skydiving

Seriously it was a life-changing event. Really was one of the greatest things I've ever done in my life, and I have a feeling I'm going to end up being addicted to it.

I had gone 2 days prior to this, but they cancelled the jump as we were walking out onto the runway to wait for the plane because of bad weather conditions

Has anyone else here gone?

Not really, I was pumped to go, this is something I've wanted to do my whole life haha.

My father used to be a skydiving instructor (always used to joke about how he's taken off in a plane 500 times more than he's landed in one lol)

Always wanted to go skydiving with him, never had the chance.
I've done indoor skydiving though, it's basically the same except you are in a huge vertical windtunnel. While the feeling is the same I don't think the effect is, probably a whole lot cooler to be above the world looking at everything like that.

Man, it's a shame we don't live in the same state. I have a hell of a time convincing people to do this sort of stuff with me, haha. That looked like a lot of fun -- were you nervous at all before making the actual jump?

I would love to go, my older brother had a video of him skydiving and it looked like so much fun. It would feel like I'm flying or as they say in Toy Story, "Falling with style"

Ahhh, the closest I ever was to doing it was the summer after graduating highschool. Even had a date and time set to go, but we couldn't get enough people to get the group rate for it, and we were all poor. I think only 3 of us really wanted to do it.
Will you get to do your next dive instructor free?

It was filmed on a wrist mounted GoPro camera, that thing wasn't going anywhere.

Any of you who want to go, **** trying to get other people to go with you, it's worth doing by yourself, it's that amazing ;D

Seeing this made me start looking for places around my area. I've always wanted to skydive, base jump, and bungie jump. I've been cliff diving multiple times, I love that. I've gotta say, being an adrenaline junkie is badass.

Something I've wanted to do as well, and will one day. Looks like an incredible experience to have, same with just being above everything and seeing how truly insignificant we are as ants on the surface 8]
