Wisconsin has too much trouble scoring points. I could see them jumping out to a lead then blowing it in the second half like they did against Michigan St.

That's why I had them losing to Syracuse in the first place. However, now that Melo is gone, I am convinced that they have a shot at winning. Risky gamble, I know, but I think they have a chance.

P.S. Not to mention, their field goal defense is brutal (think they are second behind Kentucky). Soooo I am very interested to see this game provided it happens. XD

Meh, I'm tempted to post my bracket but at the same time I don't want anyone from my money league finding my post and copying some of my picks. I'll probably post it thursday right before games start.

If you're too lazy to click the link, Syracuse's center Fab Melo has been ruled ineligible for the NCAA tourney.

In case anyone still had Syracuse going far, go look up how they played without Melo. This is huge.

Was coming to post this, hopefully the other guys will step it up as they are capable of but melo was a key center and component of the team.

I have them losing to Vanderbilt anyway. I feel so bad about having Vanderbilt in the Final Four cause they are such a bracket buster every year. Terrible tournament team, but I'm just going for the hot out of the SEC and making a run. Unlikely, but whatever.

Maybe we could all start a group on espn or something?

And Wisconsin could get beat very 1st round against Montana. Montana is very hot right now and has some good scorers. I think I read that they have 5 guys averaging 9.3ppg or higher.

True. However, I don't really think that Montana has had as many tough match ups as Wisconsin has. That, plus I personally don't think the BSC is near as difficult of a conference as the Big Ten. I think Wisconsin is more prepared than Montana.

Melo was such a massive part of the team, Syracuse will be lucky to make it to the elite 8. I watched the game when they lost to ND without him, they were just such a completely different team. He's by no means a top-tier player, but without such a large presence inside, teams just have to follow the formula ND used against them. Slow the tempo and power it inside. Guess who they are likely to play in second round? A very strong K-State team. Gonna take a risk and say Syracuse won't even get the chance to lose to Vandy/Wisconsin, they won't get past a K-State team that beat Mizzou twice this year.

Montana COULD knock off Wisconsin, but it's not likely. I'll probably do like Lump, and post my bracket Thursday night.

Iona up 55-31 with 4 minutes left in the 1st half. This team is out to prove a point. Watch out Marquette. I know Marquette is much better than BYU but they are destroying BYU.

I knew someone was going to say something about that. Wow Iona, I had a lot of faith in them but luckily that wasn't a game that counted so I switched up my bracket a little bit. Great job BYU.

VCU and Wichita St game was incredible to watch. Not too much of a surprise that VCU won it. The Kansas St and Southern Miss game was pretty good, too...

Gotta tell yah, Syracuse looked just plain sloppy. And Baylor isn't looking great either.

14/16 here. Picked Colorado and VCU correctly...should be 15, but I decided at the last second to pick WVU over Gonz. Idiot move. Also predicted Long Beach State to pull the upset, but missed that.

colorado didn't deserve to be in the tournament **** UNLV for being so overrated. Currently in a tie for 4th in a 200 man money pool. 3 people still perfect.
