Microsoft X console concept

Pictures recently popped up again of a Microsoft X console concept that was amateurishly designed by Miguel Duarte, who holds a degree in Sociology. You can check out the short article here.

Considering that it is only a concept (and has been since a little over two years now) and no way connected to Microsoft, what would you think of this being the next console? Also, what do you think of it?

looks weird. where it comes together in the middle just does not look right at all. it also seems really bulky

Looks stupid and awkward shaped. The style of the future is minimalism and sleek. If it isn't a perfect shape and metallic then I don't like it.

Screw minimalism, make it look more like a SuperNES.
I'm completely serious.

But all that aside, it's a pretty cool design but the "X" logo looks cheap.
