              When I was playing WoW, in my guild there was this Mexican guy who pretended to be a black gangster dude. I remember he was really excited for this game which made me automatically not want to get it.

                  the game looks amazing, but from what i can tell, the plot is terrible/nonexistent.

                              There's a 6-part Behind the Scenes video series on Bethesda's Youtube channel.
                              This is the first:

                              The videos have a lot of buzzwords and are clearly trying to sell the game, but it does give a nice overview of their creative process too.
                              The later parts are probably more what you want... of course the last two aren't available yet. Go figure.

                                                          Apparently the boomerang thingy is a main gimmick. All it really seems to be is a backup weapon just in case you run out of ammo. :/
