        if im not using swords axes hammers maces bows or magic it just doesnt feel right

              I love this thread I guess if my setting was going to be anything it would be Final Fantasy 7 I guess it's more like post apocalyptic future....maybe

                I was thinking about Fallout 3 when I voted, so I picked Recent Past. Then I realized it was more futuristic, however I felt the cities (vaults in particular) had an old-timey feel to them.

                I just got through the most recent game in the Resistance franchise and I really like that setting. The mid-1900s in America. You can relate to landmarks, the cities/states, any historical events that are alluded to. But along with that, they can also write their own history.

                I enjoy some amount of familiarity with my RPG settings, but I'm definitely open to other settings.
