Does anyone use Steam? I use it and I love it but I want everyone else's opinions on how they feel about Steam. Do you like it? If you use it, how often are you on?

It's nice but downloading each game can be quite annoying. Physical copies would make it much easier.

I totally agree with you on that it took me 24 hours just to download like 5 games and it was complete torture

it no longer works on my cpu, i get some weird error at startup, steam sucks anyway. They mostly support fps and if u dont like fps ur ****ed.

steam is nice. i honestly never had any issue to complain about that wasnt fixed. i do think that downloading a 4+ gig game is certainly annoying. that aside, i cant complain.

I'd much rather download a game in 20 minutes then spend 30 going to a store, picking one up, coming back, installing it, then being able to play it. If you have some terrible internet connection I'd understand but Steam doesn't cater to those people xD.

Out of that whole list there there aren't a whole lot of FPSs lol. It used to be but back then, and even now most PC gamers like FPS games.

look at their top sellers, its all fps. Non fps steam games rarely have achievements. Torchlight was fun while it lasted (i paid it 4$ :P).

Top selling games state which games are top sellers, not to what degree a genre dominates Steam quantity wise. FPS is the most popular genre today and you'd see that anywhere, and honestly I don't even know what games have achievements and which games don't cause I find them stupid and pointless. If you don't like Steam because of what games have achievements and which games don't, you must live a pretty boring life xD

Very fun. Use it every day.
If not for games then at least to come into contact with people, everyone uses steam that I know so it's good to stay connected.
Also steam has sick sales.

Steam is awesome. But downloading can be quite the hassle.
