Idea for an RPG

01[21:55] <torrent> a group of elves (who control the evil element)
01[21:55] <torrent> get together and pit all the races against each other
01[21:56] <torrent> all the races get into a massive world war of sorts
01[21:56] <torrent> during this war, main character is born into a dying race (see: humans)
01[21:56] <torrent> when he comes of age, his small village is attacked by evil elves
01[21:57] <torrent> he flees with childhood friend (who happens to be a girl so cue in the romance) into a nearby sacred forest
01[21:57] <torrent> that was shielded until he ran through the InViSiBlE mAgIcAl barrier
01[21:58] <torrent> they find some ruins that lead them underground, main character falls through the floor
01[21:58] <torrent> leaving childhood friend behind
01[21:58] <torrent> he finds an omg gauntlet
01[21:58] <torrent> instant he puts it on, he gets a vision
01[21:58] <torrent> where he has to go to the land of each race
01[21:58] <torrent> and find jewels that encompass each element
01[21:59] <torrent> that, oddly, fit perfectly into the gauntlet
01[21:59] <torrent> once he has all the jewels
01[21:59] <torrent> he can activate something (haven't thought of it yet)
01[21:59] <torrent> that lets him go into the sky
01[22:00] <torrent> where he talks to gods and tries to convince them to help the world be at peace again
01[22:00] <torrent> they're like "lol not unless you prove your worth"
01[22:01] <torrent> don't know what that test will be yet
01[22:02] <torrent> but once you complete it
01[22:02] <torrent> gods will try to help the earth
01[22:02] <torrent> but the ringleader dark elf that pitted the races against each other
01[22:02] <torrent> is using some form of dark magic he uncovered
01[22:02] <torrent> to negate the effects of the gods
01[22:03] <torrent> so they give you a special thing for your gauntlet
01[22:03] <torrent> which allows you to go back to earth
01[22:03] <torrent> and battle against the ending boss
01[22:03] <torrent> you have sex with your childhood friend, peace is restored, the gauntlet dissolves into the wind
01[22:04] <torrent> and then you delete your saved game xd

Thinking about making this on RPG Maker (lmao) once I'm done with my packs for Shikari's achievement stuff.

rofl made multiple games with rpg maker 2000 starting from when i was 10

i'm quite good at map making & a decent Dialogue writer. I wouldn't mind being part of this project. :>

[scripting i can't do, we can copy & modify them if needed though]

PS: us two could also make the soundtrack for this, that would be sweet -- even if it is a joke project

Reminds me a french book tween book I read called Amos Daragon. He gets this mask that like, melts into his face, he passes out after lots of pain and shit then wakes up looking normal. He then finds out that the mask he absorbed is an water mask, letting him control water (think Avatar: The Last Airbender) then he finds out there's stones that can basically level up his power. The masks have four holes in the forehead for those rocks to go, but once they're absorbed, they're absorbed. He then finds the air/fire/earth masks and stones, finds out there's actually 3 other worlds just like his, gods that are evil, underworld, dragons, etc and lots of goodness. 12 books. Awesome stuff. Point being, your idea is basically the same. There's even a romance and whatnot.

OK, I HAVE IDEAS FOR WHAT I DIDN'T HAVE IDEAS FOR. uh.....

Once he has all the jewels for his gauntlet, he'll be able to activate a tower (which will be guarded by monsters and a boss) that allows him to ascend into the heavens. That's when the gods will have him go on a trial of sorts (which will either be another dungeon-type thing or you'll have to go back down to earth and get help from each race).

Once that's done, you go back up to heaven. The gods will use their powers to shatter a barrier for the dark elves' sanctuary. You go in, kill dark elf leader, wala game is complete.

why don't you make an RPG where instead you start halfway in an adventure, shell out the story with flashbacks and multiple perspectives, and after you know, becoming the generic hero, you succumb to some crap and lose everything, starting back where you originally back, ending in a flashback then death.
