I was playing on one today (They don't come out until 25th March here) and oh my god I loved it.

I only got to play one of the in-built games where you take a picture of someone and proceed to spin around the room with the DS shooting them flying in 3D.

I've got one pre-ordered (did before I played it, trading in DS ad Xbox for it coz I'm a PS3 person)

Anyone else have a say on Nintendo's latest?

I can't wait to at least try one out first-- if it's as visually intriguing as I've been told/read then I'll definitely want to get my hands on one of these o:

Hopefully they have an R4 or something like it for them B)

Great line-up, 3D gimmick and I really need a replacement for my first-generation Nintendo DS (from 2004, iirc)

It's a for sure thing on my list, I have heard good reviews about the 3DS from my bro, however you can only choose from two colors shining black or blue.

Pretty much this. Although I would like a chance to play it at least once and experience it, I don't really play handhelds enough to justify my buying one, even if I had enough money for it.

Getting marissa a DS for her birthday at the end of march.

Atm the DS XL sells for $299 still... The 3DS is only gonna be $349 so I am thinking I might even jut get her one of those if the XLs don't drop in price after the releae.

I don't know about you, but where I live, the 3DS is going to cost $250. Better deal than a $300 DS XL.

edit: yep, just check Gamestop for instance
edit2: I think that's what you meant...in which case, a 3DS is a no-brainer; don't get an XL

well you can get it here for anything from £159-£259, and honestly im not paying more than £179 for it, it looks good and the games look great but honestly, im still a bit skeptical after the virtual boy failure (although this does look impressive and i hope this does buck the trend)
