I read that review a while ago... Yes it is very good, I have it for my SNES... I've had so many hours of entertainment playing it with my friends.

I posted a thread about Contra III awhile back. What an awesome game, seriously. It's one of those games you can sit down and play, and you feel compelled to continue playing and playing for the sheer knowledge of finding out if you can beat it or not.
