So, I played this yesterday at my friend's house. It's pretty fun. I was surprised that there was no thread about it yet.
Anyways, to those who don't know what this is, it's a sci-fi Action RPG (aka FPS with RPG elements). Here's a link to the wiki.
My favourite part about the game is probably the loot system. According to the devs, there are over 18 million different weapons, made by a random generator of sorts. It's pretty exciting when you see something drop a weapon and you go "OMG IS THAT RARE?!?!?!" We did that a lot. Also, there are different colour codes to the weapons so you know which ones are rarer than others.
Apparently, though, this game has a paper-thin plot. I wouldn't know because we were mainly doing side quests. :P
Oh, I forgot to mention that there are 4 playable characters. Brick (tank), Lilith (mage), Mordecai (sniper) and Roland (medic). Each one has a set of skills that they can put skill points into. You get 1 skill point everytime you level up (you level up each character individually). I was Brick, so I put most of my skills into this shield-boosting skill.
Anyways, what do you guys think about the game? I'm planning to get it soon.
