I love DotA! Although I suck at it. I usually just play AI maps with my friends, but I haven't played since like 6.57. I loved playing clinkz tho, just becuz I could orbwalk his searing arrows =]

oh okay because it was way more fun then with the ****ty terrain and retarded hero animations.

clinkz hasn't changed much over the versions. still very mana dependant, still hits like a mofo, but is ****ing scrwed with a slardar/bh or a gem.

At first, 6.60 was too different for me to like it. Icefrog completely redid the bases, added new shops (additional shop in top/bottom lanes and 6th base shop), reorganized the items, and changed some recipes around. I like how he redid the recipe for Aghanim's Scepter (get items based on what kind of stats your character needs), but I've heard a lot of griping about Manta Style (Yasha instead of Diffusal Blade? wtf?).

It took me maybe..... 2 games to get used to the changes. Now I absolutely love it.


Does anyone else love Crix and absolutely hate how his Burrowstrike bugs out sometimes - Click to use it but he doesn't go through with it; he just turns and auto-attacks the nearest target.

@ above: Learn to Shift+click an attack after doing a burrow strike and that won't happen.

also shameless bump because I didn't feel like starting a new thread and because I still want to see how many people here play dotA on a regular basis - if at all. If you DO play, let me know. I play on both b.net US East and West (alias: Rynn), and I also play on garena (alias: MFS|Dirty)

6.63 is a lot more balanced now especially with the nerf of nerub and batrider. Ursa's also gotten quite more ridiculous with his fury swipes orb getting buffed. And don't forget the 10 sec cd on Toss with tiny now; def one of my favourite heroes now.
