Ok, so my dad bought a PS3 recently. It's not mine obviously, but I'll get to play it over the summer when I'm home from college. I want to get a shooter (I'm going to buy a third party controller over the summer as well), and I've been hearing a lot about Killzone 2. It doesn't have co-op, which is a huge bummer, but the multiplayer seems awesome, and initial reviews look promising as well. There are a lot of youtube videos from the beta multiplayer, and it looks great.
I'm basically only going to get one game in the foreseeable future, so what do you guys recommend? COD 4/5, Resistance 2, or some other future release (I don't know of any other than Red Faction 2)? I'm mainly looking for a kick-ass multiplayer experience. I kind of have a preference for shooters where the players don't have a lot of health, either.
