ZOMG FINALY PLAYED 4 56 seconds after downloading for like ower then i finaly tryed to play but graficks kard was negative(screen was black) so used free jumpdrive that sucked to transfer to other computer and got it to work but bro wanted computer so i was sad

I bought GW: Galaxies for the Wii, it comes with the xbox version though.
I like Galaxies better due to the different maps and new enemys. (virus is the funnest by far)

I lol'ed. Reported for downloading a freeware version for the pc.

Because Geometry Wars isn't available on the PC. Also, it's not being sold. And, as code has been determined to not be 'speech', it shouldn't be subject to copyright law, and if he didn't use any of their patented code, there's nothing left to sue for. "Look and feel" failed horribly in the courts back in the 80s when all those pacman clones came out. Does anyone remember any of them that weren't simple variants on the name "pacman"? No.

It'd be much more efficient for them to simply port Geometry Wars to the PC and charge 10$ for it than for other whiners to bitch about a console version that requires a console which is not widely available to which they've restricted their market.

There are a hojillion free versions of Tetris out there, and Tetris still sells decently for dedicated gaming hardware, so the 'lost sales' "argument" is non-empirical hippy feel good nonsense.

Not an illegal download just because you say it is. At least at the moment it isn't. Microsoft might take action later, but so far they haven't.



I have been reading around and alot of people say the 360 version is a lot easier, and takes alot longer to get difficult. Even if the points are the same for each mob. The point multipliers are different and the spawning is a bit different.

I start getting those blue things that come in hundreds for the corners are at around 200,000 instead of around 500,000 on the 360. Also it seems like every time you die or use a bomb on this pc version it automatically jumps to the next spawning mob level difficulty.
