    Re: Dead Space

I'm more than half way through and so far there has been only 1 monster that grew its limbs back and that junk was way scary, as I had been neglecting upgrading my HP in favor of my guns, so I was getting 1hk.

And shooting them in the head is often times hilarious, as they will charge blindly and just flail around at you. But it is an interesting system. Certain limbs are worth more damage to certain types, so you'll really be aiming for the monster, not just firing blindly. I mean, you'll do that, too, when you get startled.

This is a game I would probably rent and might enjoy but I don't see myself shelling out $60 or so to get it.
Then again, I'm not to big on these kind of games so don't feel bad on my part.

Definitely worth a buy. Every now and then EA puts out a gem. This be one. :3

Of course they're going to franchise the **** out of this.

But it's the type of game where every minor innovation between titles will be a major improvement, that's just how good it is.

There already planning a Sequel for the game as well, which makes you wonder what happened at the end of the game =o

No, Its for PS3 and 360. Not sure about PC. But Dead Space in my opinion has to be better than Silent Hill, Resident Evil or and other horror game in general.

Overall its probably not. Look what ppl are comparing.
Silent Hill 5 (home coming) from konami <<< We all know Konami...
                      V.s
Dead Space 1* from EA games <<< brand new to horror

Overall, i believe dead space like 3 (if so happens) would then be better otherwise, Silent Hill owns =) along with Fatal Frame

                        Re: Dead Space

Fatal Frame and Silent Hill were genuinely creepy. I might check this out if it comes out for PC, because I need a good thriller.

Resident Evil isn't that great IMHO - it relies on cheap shocks, rather than psychological fear.
