I've had this game for awhile now, but have just been too lazy to make a thread about it, but I finally got around to it, and here it is. Let me just say that this game is amazing. It came out the same year as the first Ratchet and Clank, so I figured this would be some quickie freebie game that added a weapon and nothing new. Oh wow, I have never been so happy to be wrong. This sequel is one of those games that improves on literally EVERYTHING from the predecessor. The guns, the gameplay, the movement, the upgrades, the planets, the length, even just little tweaks like causing the game to pause when you go into your quick select have been added.
Not only is this game fun as hell, the variety...ohh, the variety. Beyond it's platforming/run 'n gun/action adventure gameplay, it has space combat, racing, big clank, little clank, hangliding, rail grinding and sphere world exploring sections. All of your weapons can upgrade, and if you beat the game you get a first person view and a bolt multiplier, so you can play through the game again and get uber amounts of bolts to get those amazingly awesome super-weapons you could only drool at the first time through.
Seriously, this game rules. It's just so amazingly fun (and, may I add, recieved Playstation 2 Game of the Year award from EGM). If you've got $20 laying around (it's got to be on the greatest hits list by now), go pick this game up.
