Before you ask, yes, this is like Audition. However, the gameplay is more loose; you get to free roam around various locations, including a main hub, which is basically a huge city. (Low-end computers beware, you can crash while moving around the city.)
The major differences of this game is that, because of its loosely based gameplay, you can have fun without having to worry about winning or anything. In fact, as far as I am concerned, you can freely play by yourself, and still gain exp. However, I'm not sure on this, as I am only level 7 right now on the servers. Leveling up is rewarding like in SDO/DANCE!; you get free items for reaching certain levels. You'll gain a BUNCH of free items as you're leveling, and even when you start! (You get a free 7Day black business suit to dance with on starting, too.)
Also, I noticed that I started off with 1 MILLION scores (that's the main currency used to buy stuff), and as I leveled, I got various cash items for free, including special items that add effects to your character for a period of time. During the time I was first playing, I catched a random event at one of the locations where you won random items for playing songs fully. How nice.
Another main difference is that 5Street, although its dancing system is based off of Audition's, its system is very unique. You perform the same "press keys, press space" dance system like in Audition, but you learn special stunts that you can perform when you gain enough "High". Stunts require vitality (the meter you see that fills when you are dancing), but greatly boost your score, if performed correctly. Stunts are done by filling up your "HIGH" bar, then pressing the number key the stunt is assigned to, in place of the space bar. That triggers the stunt move, and you can keep it going as long as you have enough vitality. As you level, you'll get vitality boosters you can use to greatly lengthen the amount of time you perform the stunt you are currently performing. You are able to keep the stunt going until you either miss, or run out of enough vitality for the stunt; you can't link different stunts together, so remember that.
The music chosen is random, and the speed is different, depending on the dance hall that is chosen. Expert dance halls have the fast songs, and the Mainstream songs have the more slower-based songs, with different themes depending on the location that you're choosing.

That is the link to get the 5Street v02 client for the American server. Download this, make an account, and have fun. Be sure to change the game settings according to the comptar you are using; when I first started playing, I kept crashing upon start-up, and then realized my game settings were all the way up. O_o
Please note that you may crash upon start-up at random times, but you should be able to play the game just fine.
