yes, very very difficult game...5 levels no like continue points or anything, not even between levels...the game has the right idea, but i would have liked to see some save points and more levels...you ever try to beat without shooting once...it can be done but i never made it to the end

Ahh, yes...I've only played it briefly, but an amazingly fun and intense game. I can't wait until Cubes are isolete so I can get an emulator of it on my comp and use quick saves...that was the only way I was able to beat Contra, after all :\

Great game, although a save feature would have been nice.
You don't need a "no save function" to capture the arcade experience.
          Solid game otherwise.
If fedex and ups merged theyd be fedup

The games freaking awesome, the farthest I've gotten is the mini boss in chapter 4, I only have 4 credits btw .

I wish is was longer and you didn't have to start on level one every time... but it's still awesome.

I've got it for Dreamcast. Its quite tight, though I enjoyed Radiant Silvergun better (the prequel that was on Saturn). RS had like six different weapons to choose from. Having the different weapons was more fun than the black/white switching dealy in Ikaruga imo. It also ran in fullscreen, so it was cool. And it was longer .

It is possible to get full screen, you just have to play with the screen size.

You can make it bigger in options, but it's still not full screen...

Got to chapter five two more times and died... got to level 3 on hard, heh.
(Those snake things the mini-bosses second form fires are bishes.)

EDIR: Wohoo! I finally beat it! The last level took 6 credits and I won on my last life o_O. I can get there on one or two though. Oh, and that was on easy, which is not easy damnit! That's was freaking insane.

Supreme game, and the fact that most of the screen is filled 75% with lasers, varying from black and white, makes it insanely great for reflex testing.

I'm sure I've said it plenty of times, but Treasure (the developers) always makes games as kick-ass as this, and right now I am currently looking for a copy of Sin and Punishment for N64, which, despite being totally whoop-ass, was only released in Japan.

                        :P

(BTW, I can eat easy in 3 credits and normal in 9 now... hard is crazy tough, the pic is normal mode, low quality though...)

Oh, Ikaruga. The whole non-fullscreen thing is the preserve the aspect ratio from the arcade version. It works much better than streching the screen or cutting some of the top away. I can S++ level one. But that was a year ago, sadly enough.

                              I B++'d it once :P.

Anyway, probably seems sad, but I finally got to to level 5 on easy before continuing XD. Then I only used 2 on the last boss (The 1st and 2nd forms piss me off). Got a total score of like... 6.8 million I think.
