Well my brothers's psp got stolen today and i'm freaking out. I already broke the news to him. He is not taking it too hard but he is sad. I'm planning to buy him a new one friday or saturday. I can't let my mom know or i am dead for sure. How should i stall though?

well, if i was you, i would tell your mom, its not like you planned on getting it stolen or anything, they would most likely buy a new one for him in that case.

but, you understand your mom better than i do. so depending on the situation, i would buy one as fast as possible, pretty much as soon as you can get the money.

i already got the money, but my mom is not the one to take things lightly. plus my bro got for xmas so its been less than a month. And im gonna be set back a whopping 200 bucks since it's the darth vader one.

I think the best thing you could ever do is tell your parents. Try and let them understand what had happened, and that you never intended for it to be stolen. Your parents should understand; let's face it, the world's cruel. Sometimes, you just have to deal with it.

This reminds me of this one time at school, where I found a tennis ball. I set it behind me at my locker, and when I went to go pick it up, it was gone. I was in tears, but I felt better after a while. Basically, the world is filled with cruel people. You just have to face your fears. Hey, who knows; maybe you could get the police involved or something. Or maybe try and find out who did it. But, seeing as I don't know your parents as well as you do, then it's really best to do what you feel would be the best thing to do.

P.S.: Try not to get the new one stolen, too; try keeping your PSP where you can see it, or nicely zipped up in a backpack or something. Plus, if this happened at school, then you could get your school's principal involved. Seriously, I don't know what to tell you; just try and be strong. It sucks to have stuff stolen from you. I mean, it is material things, but when your stuff is stolen, it tears a hole in your stomach. It makes you feel sad, stupid, and embarrassed at the same time.

Yea i would go forward if it wasn't for the fact that one of my "friends" stole it. i just can't cope with it right now. it's too hard. And if i told my mom she would would go ballistic and she would commit social and personal murder on my sorry behind.

dude you really need to stand up for yourself, if you let your friend take it what will make him think its not ok if he wants your phone or something. dont call the cops or tell your parents thats the little kid thing to do. just go handle your shiit.
