Okey I recently got the Legend of Zelda, the very first one, for my GameBoy SP. I'm now on level 3 and I'm like on the room before the boss. and whenever I try to kill those dang darknuts, I lose like 5 of my hearts, and theres no way for me to beat the boss with 3 hearts. Anybody know how to kill these darknuts with taking minimal damage?

Oh god, I remember these darknuts. I passed the whole game before. I remember rooms with stairs and full of darknuts. There's no secret pwnass technique. It's hit-and-run. You go to them, try to think of what they would do after. A bad thing to do is to run into them like crazy, you (or Link) will die. -

I think I've played what you're talking about. Unfortunately, from the information that you've given me, I don't know how to help you. The only thing I can say is keep practicing/going at it. There has got to be a way for you to do it with only 3 hearts. Besides, it shouldn't be too hard, it is only level 3...

A good trick for darknuts is to try and hit them when they're about to turn. And a good place to do that is next to a block. However, you'll probably still get raped. =\Comment

Hit them from the side or try bombs and hope the explosion hits their side, I think that works. It's just a strategy of hit and run when you face them.
