Nintendo shows a new trailer. Sonic is going to be a playable character! The trailer shows him transforming into Super Sonic.

The game will include online fights. In addition, it will have online cooperative play of some form.

Poor Japan.

I'm assuming it's not being delayed in NA. I mean, prior to the Japan delay, NA was going to get the game first regardless. It may be that they simply need more time for translation? Nonetheless, it'd be a rather bold move to postpone the game's release in NA. Christmas sales aren't something they'd like to miss anyway.
