    BioShock question

yo i just got bioshock (its seriously kick ass)
and i just found my first little sister.
i can either kill the bitch or i can save it.
if i kill it i get maximum adam, which i dont even know what that is.
if i save it i get barely any adam, but that lady says itll be worth my while.
what does she mean by worth my while and what is adam?

save them from now on it is greatly worth your while
Edit: yes you get less adam but every once in a while she will leave a teddy bear at the getherer's market with 200 adam and some ammo

            Re: BioShock question

Save all of them = Good ending
Kill just one child (Doesnt matter if you save the rest, if you kill one your done) = Bad ending.

The endings really dont do the game justice, but you'll see when you get there.
