    Re: 2moons

So anyways, I just leveled to 27, hopefully tonight, I'll finish the last part of 28. Tomorrow I'll try to finish 29 and 30.

Squeek, next time you're in Loa and I'm on, just tell me. I always need to head back to town, my inventory is always full of weapons to NPC.

Just out of complete curiosity, I want to know how shops work in this game. I bought an item once and I got it, but I don't remember how I did it. The other day, I tried buying my level 24 whip, which had quite a bit of +attack to it, but it didn't end up in my inventory. I still paid for it, but it wasn't there. Did I have to drag the weapon into my inventory? I quickly got over it and went back to Heiharp to level, where upon my first kill, I got a Noble Lvl 30 Azure Knight sword. After dying because of the lag, I opened a shop to sell the weapon for 20k. When I came back hours later, I sold the weapon -- I closed the shop and checked my inventory to see if I got my money and to my surprise, it wasn't there! Did I have to withdraw my money from my earnings?

Well, technically in nunvice you won't level twice as fast because the ending exp bonus doesn't double.

But I think I need to play during these events. I need all the help I can get to get to 55. My god it's boring. :<

        Re: 2moons

        It gets fun at 55.

I mean I hit 55 on what, Tuesday night? And I didn't even go to Crespo until Wednesday night. It's been 4 days now and I've gained 4 levels.

Yeah, I hit 59. Word. Curse Field is even better than I thought it would be. The range is SO MASSIVE. And it cools down while it's being used, so I can lure another batch while the helpless creatures take massive damage.

Today was a blur, man. I got on early and got 20% in some crappy party, then found an 88 with some cool people who all died because two idiots went AFK and didn't tell anyone. We even had two segnales healing. Sheesh. Then I scored a new party, which fell apart. Then another party that stuck together for about 8 hours swapping out members here and there. At 89% to 59, the party disbanded out of the blue. Two people stuck with it, so we couldn't AOE kill anymore. Took a long time to get that last 11%. Oh, and along the way, Blood Hit leveled again. Does 2k per swing for 6 swings.

Curse Field is really, really amazing. 1,500 damage per hit at level 1. Insanely huge radius. Knockback on mobs over and over again to the point that I don't even have to use a heal skill. I can't KB the giant mobs in Crespo yet, but I can take care of all the minions =)

Edit: Three good things about this video. 1: Dead Front. 2: Curse Field. 3: Holy crap EXP.

Put your mouse on where the character's EXP starts, then compare throughout the video. Heck, compare during the very first fight. It's ridiculous.

those big dragons are part of an event and I think that we should participate in it, because it has great prizes and Dil.

            Re: 2moons

Kay, it's totally my turn to post about my progress yesterday. I hit 30 and by chilling with Squeek when he was playing with his Curse Field, I hit 31. Which was pretty awesome, all I have to do is grind my way to 32 to get my next level of Blood Hit. I won't be in today so the chances of me hitting 34 so I can start Nunvice is pretty low, but at least I know I'll make it before the 2x xp this coming weekend.

The shop problem was solved. I found two more nobles while leveling from 27-30. When I opened the shop, the 20k that I earned was in the earnings portion of the shop.

I'm going to grind one more level in Castor Cave. I really love it there. I've got my kill rotation down to the point where I never have to stop to wait/find a monster to kill. This means my Blood Hit is always on cooldown because I can use it immediately when it's up. I haven't been to Heiharp much so I have no idea how to grind there efficiently. It takes a little longer to kill the mobs there but hopefully, it'll become drastically shorter with my new level of Blood Hit. If not, I'll be grinding my levels to 34 in Castor Cave.

I wouldn't get too excited about deadfront squeek. I mean, I'd like to be leveling faster, but there's a HUGE catch to this lovely place...

it only goes up during certain times of the day and only a certain number of people (groups) can run it. LOL, gg.

This game has good endgame material so I want to keep playing, and I could probably easily put ina level/day if I wasn't at school. School is sucking away all my time so blahh.

                  Oh, that sucks.

Oh well. I have Crespo Dungeon in one more level.

SC: Those dragon events aren't worth it. Only the person / party that does the most damage gets the drops. I was there with the first test of this, remember? The first dragon was a free-for-all and Vunik and I got the prize. Then after that, they spawned another. It only dropped for one person. I got the "item appointed to another user" message several times. Obviously a guild of 5xers won't beat out a guild of 9xers in damage output.

After that they did a hide n' seek with treasure chests. Inside were random gems and argates and stuff. I didn't find any. It's not really worth it until that last day. But if I'm bored, I might check it out.

Rather than playing my Bagi I started a segnale. XD I need a nunvice break. Though I'll whore the 2x events as hard as possible likely.

By the way, I can leech people now. It's not going to be incredibly effective for people around level 50, but I can still try. I'd rather leech some 2x / 3x folks up.

Let me know if you're interested.

                              Necamus:

                              http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...&postcount=247

Kinda changed at this point, but that's a good baseline.

Everyone gets one free reskill, so I recommend doing this:

First skill set: Level up the Masteries first and foremost. The MP one is especially good as you won't even need to use potions until around level 30.

Then you do 1-point skills for a while. Leveling will suck for a while, but these skills all suck more. Ruins Skull, Backdraft, Death Scythe (side), Wound Healing, and Self Healing. Leave them at 1 forever.

You get your first buff at level 15. I recommend it. I also recommend leveling it. Press 'e' to target yourself when using it. The other two buffs can stay at level 1. They aren't very good.

At 20 you get Blood Hit. This is your first must-level skill. You'll find out when you use it. 29 is Hyper Heal, which can stay at level 1. At 30 you get Vampire, another good skill to level. 36 is Dread Nail, yet another good one. 42 is Recover, which is useful to have, but just one point. 45 is Fast Healing, the best healing spell we have. Level it. 47 is Evil Spear, which in your first run, is worth leveling. After that is Curse field at 59. You might want to reskill around this time.

When you reskill, the changes are

1 point -> Max level: Hyper Heal
Points -> 1 point: Heal, Blood Mastery, Evil Spear
Points -> No points: Single-target buffs
No points -> points: Multi-target buffs

The reason you do this is because you solo through 1-55 and even into 60.

After a while, you won't have enough points to keep leveling all the skills you'll want to level. Keep your focus on what matters. Curse Field and Evil Crow are your two priorities. Your Heal and buff spells are important, but if you have to make a choice between leveling a Blood skill and leveling a Heal skill, level the Blood skill. I know from filling out my character tree dozens of times now that you will come to a point around level 70/80 where you have so many skills leveling and way too few points (72 is a big one). At this point, I'd recommend focusing on Evil Crow, Blood Hit, Curse Field, and Fast Healing over all other skills. Since three of those level at 74, you'll need to save one point per level starting at 72, which is when Blood Hit gains another point. It's very complicated but you get out of this overlap phase pretty quickly once your skills start maxing out at 10.

When you start getting free points again, invest in Curse Mastery (to level 9. 10 is pointless), Self and Wound Healing (to reduce the cool timers primarily. All Heal spells get better HP regeneration, sure, but the most important part is the cool timer), Paralyze (pre-reqs are the other 3 curse skills, which you can leave at 1), Evil Spear (it's not a bad skill, it just isn't worth leveling early on), Recover (at level 5 there is no more resurrection sickness, although the harsh 5-minute cool timer remains), then Healing Mastery and Fishing. That leaves you no points left at level 150. If you don't want either of the last two, which are truly pathetic skills, then I'd say your only other option is to put one point into the first two single-target buffs, then 5 into Dark Circle, which will add 7% Curse Damage onto all of your attacks (which is really nice). The problem is, it eats away your MP like crazy. If you hit 0 MP while this is active, you die. Not a skill you want to use with a low mana pool.

Here is the calculator. It works in Firefox, but it works better in IE. Some of the data is wrong and a careful eye will let you know what is wrong and what is right. Also, when you reskill, you lose the point you had when the game gave you your first skill (Ruins Skull). So don't erase that skill from the tree or your data will be totally screwed up.

And hey, since I hit 59, I've been thinking about farming for Legendaries for fun. Beats grinding.

I don't want to grind for a long while, so when I sign on, please don't invite me into your Crespo parties. Sorry.
