I just started playing..but I have a question. Who do you talk to for like the first job "advancement"? for example...im a knight but when i go to talk to Duncan, he only talks about the shop and the other one..how can i make him say like oh to be a knight do this..thanks..

If you're a knight you're a knight. Whatever class you start with you're stuck with, hence why you should pick wisely (or play around with different ones for a bit). You don't gain jobs but skills. In both of the starting towns, there are blue icons and find your respective skill dealer there. At certain levels you can get certain skills (and weapons/armor ect).

Does anyone get repeatedly disconnected for no reason. It's really starting to piss me off besides the fact it's way to fast and jerky (i don't know why)
I can't wait for the beta to be over and all of this to be fixed.

way too fast and jerky? XD

if it's 'lagging' then that's your pc's fault. There's no lag on mine all at and it's perfectly smooth. Though, do expect a slight loading time lag when you go into areas with lots of people.

And no i've never been disconnected.

Never been disconnected. I had trouble logging in at first, though, I kept getting "invalid ID", even though I had already registered for the game previously and clicked the register button to make it work for that specific game.

There are supposedly bugs where the gameplay is really sped up for some reason and where a person gets disconnected. I think it has to do with the ISP, or a firewall, etc.

The two bugs are supposedly different things, though, and are completely unrelated, I think.

That's exactly what happens to me. I'll see what shutting sown my firewall will do. I just tap a key to move and I'm 3 screens over.

the only place i get DC'ed in the instance dungeon, but that seems to be happening a lot to everyone. Its really starting to piss me off cuz its 10k to go in, and you easily get it back if you can finish the dungeon, but if you get DC'ed, its a complete and utter waste of 10k. Probably the most annoying thing ive encountered so far.

heh, I highly anticipated this game. I'm a lvl 25 summoner, I kinda lost interest in the game so I don't play as much anymore.

Oh god, some people would consider that a blessing.

Try playing at 100000000x speed yourself and see how easy it is to tell where you're going. much less try and enter a building.

I'm downloading the game at the moment. I'm probably going to level a healer and maybe a warrior later. It's a good thing I can overlook pvp, I hate it.

Same. I'm looking at the skill builds for Segnales and it's like "these skills are good for PVP!". Easiest decision to make, ever. Why would anyone prefer PVP skills over skills that let you level faster?

Dude, I was DL'ing it earlier, was gonna take a half hour, so I went to play x box at my friends, came back and it said 4 more hours. T_T
It's at about 20 minutes now.

Because I'm pretty sure you can get killed like, anywhere on the higher level places.

pvp skills come in handy when someone tries to pk you!

rofl noobs (20~~ people) running around on requies trying to pk people while they're getting swarmed.

Yes other players can attack you without you having to accept it. Though as a bagi I can basically just instinct speed and run away, since they'll never deplete my shield in time so they give up D:

After finishing this quest I'll be 33, like 30~~% to 34. Leveling is taking quite a bit longer now, so it'll be nice to get into that dungeon (assuming i'm strong enough to handle it :< ).
